Hello Friends,

Long time no post, right? I know. I had some serious figuring-out-what-I-want to-do-with-the-rest-of-my-life stuff going on. I know I want to travel, but I have to do something to sustain my life. I had plans, but they don’t seem to be working so well for me. So I decided to take some time off and try and give the matter some serious thought. My initial plan was joining some business school, so that I am more employable. But it seems to me that that no longer is my calling, and furthermore, I don’t want to take on a heap of student loans to pay off. So, did I figure out? No, not really. But I have decided to work on my writing and see if I can earn some bucks that way.

Enough about me. I hope you all have been doing well. Ah, I am about 3 months late with this post; I had written it before I went MIA, so I am just publishing that.

  • Surviving Rape
by Breaking up with Contraceptionsurviving rape
In this post, Crazy Stork Lady writes an account on how she survived what would be any girl’s nightmare come true – rape. While it is difficult for people to talk about negative everyday experiences, this Stork Lady shows commendable courage and narrates her experience. She talks about how she dealt with this crisis, how she started healing and eventually went on the journey of accepting and started moving from Self-Loathing to Self-Loving!
And while I was sitting in my chair and admiring her bravery, she goes ahead to disclose her real identity – Ella Mathews. I am in awe of this Lady. She’s an inspiration!

Well.. What can I say? I love books. I love reading, and there’s nothing I like more trilling or exciting than getting my hands on controversial books. Oh yeah!
So when I saw the banned book reviews, it instantly drew me in. The books reviewed are great, and C.H. Armstrong has done a hell of a review with each book.

Oh, and I hope you all had a great Christmas.
